Death: We offer our sincere sympathy and prayers to  the family of the late Mary O’ Leary, Guineys Terrace who died this weekend. May she rest in peace.

THANK YOU: Fr. Francis would like to thank everyone who prepared Newmarket and Taur churches for Easter and all who took part in the Easter ceremonies. A special thanks to everyone who attended the ceremonies. Fr. Francis would also like to thank you for your kindness and   generosity with your Station and Easter offerings and wish you a very happy Easter.

PARISH WEEKLY ENVELOPES: The envelope year commences on 3rd May 2015 and all boxes will be delivered to you a week in advance. If you have not received a box previously and would like to do so please contact the Parish Office on 029-22679 next week to arrange. These weekly contributions supports all the expenditure in both our churches. Thank you for your continuous support.

TRÓCAIRE BOXES:  Please return your Trócaire Box to either the sacristy or the parish office during the coming week. Thanks.

BLOOD DONOR CLINIC: Will be held in Coláiste Treasa, Kanturk on Wednesday, 8th April from 3pm to 5pm & 7pm to 9pm. Help to cope with the increasing demand from hospitals and patients in the region.

CLOTHES COLLECTION: In aid of the Friends of Calcutta will take place in Newmarket Church car park on Wednesday, April 8th from 1pm to 3pm. Please support this voluntary Irish charity. Enquires to M. Hopkins on 087-9073074.

BOHERBUE COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL:  Will hold an Assessment Test for incoming First Year students 2015/2016 in the school library on Saturday, 18th April 2015 from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Students should arrive at the school before 9.15am on the day.

OPEN MEETING :  Tidy Towns lift off meeting will be held on Tuesday 7th April @ 8pm in the CYMS hall, all welcome to attend. We need as many representatives from the various areas as possible.  Lets all pull together and help brighten, maintain and enhance  the community we live in !  For more information check out our Town Development facebook page.

SECRET GARDEN: Will hold a free Gardening Workshop on Sunday 5th April @ 3pm – Growing Salads, Peas & Beans. The talk will take place in the veg garden so please wear outdoor clothing & footwear. All welcome.
