SHORT BUT SWEET: Frank wasn’t known for his patience, and he had absolutely no use for negative conversation. When he got a call from his wife during a busy day at work, she talked slowly and didn’t seem very upbeat. Frank interrupted her and exhorted her to be brief and positive. She paused for a moment and then cheerfully replied, “I discovered the airbags in our new BMW work great!”

SOME THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK:

“I find television very educational. Every time someone switches it on, I go into another room and read a good book.” Groucho Marx

“Today I want you to ask yourself this one question – “Why not you?” Why not you to do something for work that you love? Why not you to be, have, or do anything you have ever dreamed? We are so quick to think others are deserving over ourselves. The truth is we are all deserving so Why not you?!”   J. Michaels

“I love being married. It is so great to find the person you are going to annoy for the rest of your life.”   Rita Rudner

“Just because a man lacks the use of his eyes doesn’t mean he lacks vision.” Stevie Wonder

“The best moments in reading are when you come across something – a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things – that you’d thought special, particular to you. And here it is, set down by someone else, a person you’ve never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it’s as if a hand has come out and taken yours.” Alan Bennett

“Perfect love is within your reach! Only you have to remove jealousy, expectations,        prejudices and greed from what it is that you call love first.” Alexander Groseth

“Half of what’s wrong with people today is that they ain’t got no place to go that makes them peaceful.” Ayana Mathis

ONE SENTENECE SERMON: I can only please one person per day…. Today’s not your day, and tomorrow doesn’t look good either!
